PBX
PBX stands for private branch exchange. They can be used with conventional
telephone, fax or modem connections in addition to carrying data. Whilst
not as feature rich as an IP telephony system they can also provide enhanced
facilities, while requiring only standard and inexpensive telephone handsets. PBX
features can include multiple telephone ports for telephones, faxes or
modems, intergrate with caller display telephones.
Full Call Processing including: Call Hold, Forward, Park, Pickup and Transfer,
Call Barring and Do Not Disturb and Speed Dial.
PBX System Features can also in addition includ: – Hunt Groups, Line Groups, Music on Hold, Incoming Caller ID, DDI, MSN and Sub-Addressing, Distinctive Ring Tones, Night Service, Voice-Mail, Virtual Voice-Mail, Least Cost Routing, Call Logging.
