NEAX is the name for the voice family of business phone systems designed by NEC. The range includes a number of products designed to tackle various target markets and applications.

NEAX platforms are fully IP enabled from day one, however, in order to be cost effective each platform offers the flexibility of traditional telephony support.

In summary, NEAX offers a voice platform that caters for the customer's needs both today and tomorrow, whilst maintaining cost effective migration.

NEC Business Phones Architecture

NEAX solutions are rack mounted platforms, that connect to the customer's LAN to offer full IP telephony. These units also expand in the rack, to offer full traditional telephony.

NEAX platforms all use Zeacom applications where required. These have been part of the solution for the past ten years and reside on a single server connected via the LAN.
